TRAUMA

WILL I EVER BE THE SAME?
You "look the same" on the outside, but you are not okay. You feel nothing or everything. You want to be seen & understood. Your pain is invisible which makes you feel safe, but alone. You don't want other people's pity but it's hard feeling like no one gets it.

WHAT IF I DON’T WANT TO TALK?
You just want to live your life...without pain. But the thought of talking about your trauma is terrifying. If you have experienced trauma, you don't have to face it alone. I opened my practice to serve people living with trauma. 

AM I JUST AN ANXIOUS PERSON?

Anxiety is the worst. Everyone knows it. But for some, it is completely debilitating and life-limiting. After a while, you may start to believe you cannot function or you’ll always be an “anxious person.”

WHAT IF TOO ANXIOUS FOR THERAPY? 

It's normal to be anxious. If you are anxious about going to therapy, it is like having a house fire and being anxious to call the fire department. To truly address anxiety, it is often necessary to identify underlying thoughts & beliefs. Help may be scary but your life is worth the risks.

WHAT IF I’VE NEVER FOUND ANSWERS?

Depression is hard to understand. It is hard to explain a wound you cannot see. You struggle to talk with family & friends. It takes over—every day. Your world is covered in a haze. The things you once enjoyed & the life you once knew covered in gray. You try to live as you once did, but you can't.

 

WILL I EVER BE HAPPY AGAIN?

Your depression can improve, but you might not get there alone. If you are hopeless or suicidal, it is time for help. I know things can improve & I'd like to help you do it.
